Marquette residence is an interior design refurbishment. This old 1980 house located on the top of a hill has been divided throughout the years into different residential flats. Since the house faces a lake, the new owners decided to go back to the original internal layout of the ground floor, where the social spaces were facing the lake. As a family they enjoy spending time together when cooking, therefore, the kitchen became one of the main spaces of the house. Every single space has been refurbished, designed and reorganized in a way of enhancing the family’s activities, giving them comfort and incorporating a contemporary style.
Additionally, the new design has integrated natural light and passive sustainable strategies in the main spaces. This refurbishment includes a mixture of bright vivid colors with natural and white materials, keeping an elegant and clean visual balance of the elements around the house.
